Trekstock enables young adults to live their fullest life alongside cancer. We supported the charity with a pro-bono digital overhaul to enable them to reach and support more people online. Users need to get heard
We conducted audience and content strategy sessions to understand their core user needs. This uncovered that there are four key streams of value that Trekstock provides: getting people connected (through communities), moving (with events), informed (with content), and heard (through channels).
The “get heard” stream created a new pillar for the charity’s positioning & highlights their dedication to creating a roadmap that is centered in what their audience’s prioritise. These four streams informed the architecture for the website’s content & enabled us to categorise the large amount of existing content.
Users need to get heard
We leveraged Trekstock’s new brand identity and elevated it through a digital design system. This included creating global components that made the core brand elements more scalable such as designing an extended colour pallete and interactions. We created the site with accessibility at the heart, utilising XYZ standards and performed vital testing at design and development stages.

Impact at the heart
Sometimes just numbers is not enough. We brought the charity’s incredible impact to center stage with “Impact stories”, a repeatable component powered by a collection so that the Trekstock team can easily add video and image content.
This section brings a human touch to the experience and features an interactive design which can be utilised on multiple pages where social proof elevates the content.
Taking content management in-house
We migrated their content to Webflow’s CMS and set up a clean and scalable structure so that their in-house team can easily update content at speed. A key requirement is for Trekstock to be able to add events, content, and partnerships - we created simple collections to manage this data, reducing the technical requirements for maintaining these content streams.
